Abbey Glen boasts a rich history of supporting our local communities. It all started when founder Albert Youle constructed housing for all staff and their families upon their employment starting, whilst our horses were mobilised to aid the war effort. Albert's contribution to assisting Belgians during the war was so significant that a street in Ypres, Belgium, was named after him.
